Oris are back at Watches and Wonders 2024 with a bang, and this time they’ve updated their iconic line of luxury sports watches - the Aquis collection. A modern, dependable and highly versatile tool watch, the Oris Aquis is known to deliver time after time and we’re so excited to reveal what’s next for this collection.

Driven by the principles of contemporary refined luxury, every detail of these new timepieces have been carefully reconsidered and upscaled by the brand’s in-house team of designers and engineers to deliver a beautiful, desirable, high-performance diving watch that perfectly balances form and function.

So, what’s new? Starting with the aesthetics, and the Aquis now has an elegantly refined profile for improved ergonomics. Keeping elements such as its sculpted lugs and crown protection, the three-link metal bracelet has been skilfully redeveloped so that the central link is broader. The result? A look and feel that’s both easy on the eye and on the wrist. The refinement process even took a dive under the dial with a date wheel and background colour to match the dial colour and high-contrast text. We love how this creates a seamless look whilst also increasing legibility.

Speaking of diving, the watch remains water resistant to 300 metres, whilst the uni-directional rotating bezel continues to offer accurate, safe dive time measurements thanks to its highly resistant ceramic bezel. Starting with the larger 43.5mm model, built with the impressive Calibre 400 automatic movement. With up to five days power reserve and anti-magnetic properties, it’s a movement to impress. This watch also features the brand’s patented Quick Strap Change system so that you can switch easily between straps and bracelets to suit your every occasion. It really is a watch that takes you from work to weekend in style!

Just like the Calibre 400, the Calibre 733 model is crafted in stainless steel with a choice of black, blue and green dial colours. However the movement itself is based on the Sellita SW200-1 movement, known for its smooth-running second hand and power reserve of up to 38 hours. Turn the watch over and be prepared to get lost in time as you watch the movement beat away through the open case back.

Three words to describe this model? Bespoke. Distinctive. Elegant. We already love the reimagined slimline stainless steel case and uni-directional rotating bezel, but we have to mention the elegant, svelte H-design bracelet with brushed and polished links that has been created exclusively for this model. Finishing off the elegant touches are a choice of either mother-of-pearl or black dials, both applied with special hour markers and diamond-shaped tips.

Featuring a vibrant dial in multi-coloured recycled PET plastic, these four new Upcycle editions are set to be favourites in 2024. Because of the unique way in which the dial material is made, no two dials will ever be the same - how cool is that? Choose between different case sizes of 43.5mm with the Calibre 400 movement, and three automatics at 43.5mm, 41.5mm and 36.5mm.
