Watches and Wonders 2023 | NEW TAG Heuer Watches

This year is a hallmark year for TAG Heuer at Watches and Wonders 2023 as it marks the highly anticipated 60th anniversary of its Carrera collection. However, that doesn’t mean that the brand isn’t releasing remarkable timepieces from other iconic collections.

As well as celebrating the Carrera’s 60th Anniversary with new chronograph timepieces, TAG Heuer are giving us colourful additions to the Carrera, special editions to the Formula 1 collection and iconic updates to the Aquaracer. Ready to find out more? Let’s go…

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph

First things first, we need to introduce you to the exceptional new chronograph’s (including timepieces inspired by the collector favourite – the Glassbox) which celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Carrera collection. We go into more detail on the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Glassbox and TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Glassbox Tourbillon here - they’re timepieces you don’t want to miss!

TAG Heuer Carrera Date

Returning with a newly streamlined silhouette, a bold color palette and a mechanical upgrade, we’re obessed with the new TAG Heuer Carrera Date watches.

Launched at Watches and Wonders 2023, discover four new dial options: deep TAG Heuer Carrera signature blue, pastel green, warm silver and a new bright vibrant pink dial. The first three have a delicate sunray-brushed finish, whilst the pink showcases an elegant snailed finish. Homed within a 36mm stainless steel case with matching metal bracelets, each has a raised track running around the outside of the dial, detailed with quarter-of-a-second markings to symbolize acceleration, only made more casual and elegant with a tone-on-tone finish that complements the dials.

In their quest for wearability, the case has been designed 2mm thinner than the outgoing edition, now measuring 10mm, for a significant impact on both the watch’s visual profile and how it wears on the wrist allowing it feel taut, athletic, and well balanced. The crown has also been redesigned so that it sits squarer to the case edge, as has the brushed and polished three-link bracelet, which now tapers more gently into the round case. Together, these refinements give the TAG Heuer Carrera Date its luxurious, ergonomic feel.

Less visible to the naked eye is the Calibre 7 mechanical upgrade. Previous editions were powered by the Calibre 5 automatic which had a 38 hour power reserve. However, the new models are equipped with the Calibre 7 automatic which has a superior 56 power reserve. This enhanced movement also provides the watch with a date window at 6’o’clock. Despite extensive revisions and upgrades, the TAG Heuer Carrera Date remains rooted in the design’s racing traditions.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200

We saw the classic Aquaracer Professional reborn last year at Watches and Wonders 2022, and most recently again at LVMH Watch Week 2023, but now they’re bringing us “The Golden Edge”. Say hello to the first bi-colour model of Aquaracer Professional. Let’s dive in…

As the name suggests, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 blends stainless steel and solid 18ct gold to create a high-concept sports watch that’s both extreme and elegant at the same time. Each of the four new models boast a stainless steel case complemented by an 18ct solid-gold bezel inlay and crown. Not forgetting the 18ct gold plated detailing on the hands and hour markers.

A smokey dial provides a finishing touch for the timepieces, symbolising how light fades at the end of the day. This timepiece is just as at-home on an extreme sports adventure as it is decorating a wrist for a fashionable statement with rubber straps that co-ordinate to the colour of the dial. Not to mention the watch case back features hexagonal and compass motifs, representing TAG Heuer’s dedication to crafting timepieces fit for sports and adventure.

As we’ve just mentioned, the collection offers two striking colour ways and two different case sizes. One in black and rose gold, and one in blue and yellow gold. The larger 40mm models feature 18ct gold plated applied indexes and a signature horizontal-striped dial. Whereas the smaller 30mm models feature diamond-dot hour markers and a mother of pearl patterned dial.

The larger case size remains versatile and hugely wearable thanks to its slim profile whilst the smaller blends performance and style in a more modestly proportioned package. We love that the luxurious finishes add a layer of urbane sophistication to the high-performance sports watch made to go beyond the edge.

Alongside the new golden edge design, TAG Heuer still honour many original characteristics of the iconic Aquaracer Professional. A unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown, luminous markers, and a sapphire crystal finish are all signature of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer. Design features that combine sports style and incredible durability.

Powered by Swiss-made automatic mechanical movements that provide them with hour, minutes, seconds, and date indications; the 40mm model features the TAG Heuer Calibre 5 and the 30mm the TAG Heuer Calibre 9 movement. And both promise water resistance to 200 meters. What’s not to love? Keep your eyes peeled as they’re coming soon to Beaverbrooks.

TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf

Adorned with Gulf’s famous blue and orange stripes, the newest addition to the TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection is as sporty as it is luxurious. Crafted for those who dare to live life in the fast lane, say hello to the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf.

A true legend imbued with Gulf and TAG Heuer’s passion for motorsports, this special edition is both bold and energetic, building upon the legendary partnership and sporting Gulf’s emblematic blue and orange livery - the colours of victory. This racing-inspired 43mm watch is ready to outpace with style thanks to its sunray brushed dial and subdials.

Crafted in fine-brushed steel, the robust screw-down case back features a special engraving, lending the watch a unique aura. The three-row steel bracelet has a folding clasp with a double safety system and driver's extension to wear over a racing suit - and that’s not all. A special box has been designed to fit the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Gulf Edition watch to perfection, so you can keep it safe when it’s off your wrist. Coming soon to Beaverbrooks, this watch is perfect for Formula 1 fans and watch fanatics alike.

We round-up the new TAG Heuer Carrera watches released at the highly anticipated luxury watch event of the year here. Love keeping up with the latest releases from Watches and Wonders?
