LVMH Watch Week 2024 | NEW TAG Heuer Watches

LVMH have kick started their fifth annual edition of LVMH Watch Week in Miami, putting the spotlight on their iconic watchmaking Maisons. And we’re here to talk you through new releases from TAG Heuer.

The luxury watch brand have revealed nine revolutionary timepieces across the Carrera, Aquaracer and Connected collections. Spoiler alert: expect plenty of green, a few brand firsts and impeccable craftsmanship (as always), with TAG Heuer showing us once again that they don’t crack under pressure.

So, whether you’re a motorsport fan, a lover of the outdoors, or into your fitness, there’s a Swiss watch for everyone with these new TAG Heuer timepieces. Are you ready to find out more? Let’s go…

Carrera Chronograph Dato & Tourbillon

(CBS2211.FC6545 & CBS5011.FC6566)

We’ve been loving the TAG Heuer Carrera for over 60 years now and we’re so happy to reveal that the much-loved collection remains at the forefront for the brand with not just one, but two new Carrera Chronograph timepieces.

A proud extension of the 60th anniversary models launched at Watches and Wonders 2023, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Dato and TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon are designed in a captivating teal green that pays homage to motorsport history - particularly the vintage green shades of the racing cars from 1920 to 1960. Building on the Carrera Glassbox-inspired design from last year’s models, the latest editions also take design cues from the fan-favourite TAG Heuer Carrera 45 Dato.

The Dato was known for representing Jack Heuer’s philosophy of prioritising readability. Originally launched with the date window at 12 o’clock, in 1968 the decision was made to relocate the date window to 9 o’clock to showcase TAG Heuer’s commitment to precision and style. This pivotal moment birthed the iconic Dato layout we’re in awe of today.

Masterfully captivating you with their inner beauty too, we love the open caseback on the Carrera Chronograph Dato where you can quite literally get lost in time. On the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, you can find the tourbillon cage (or as we call it, the heart of the watch), encased within a glass frame.

Did you know? A tourbillon is a continuously rotating cage that surrounds the escapement and is designed to counteract the influences of gravity on the accuracy of a mechanical movement.

Both watches are powered by the in-house calibre Heuer 02 automatic movement with bidirectional automatic winding mechanism - and if that isn’t impressive in itself, you’re bound to be impressed by their 80-hour power reserve. Racing in elegance as they honour TAG Heuer’s motorsport heritage, these timepieces are already clear winners to us. Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph

(WBP1315.BA0005, WBP1311.BA0005, WBP1312.BA0005, WBP1313.BA0005, WBP1314.BA0005)

Say hello to an entirely fresh line-up of TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph watches. We’ve been obsessed with this collection since it made history as TAG Heuer’s first solar powered timepiece two years ago, and now it’s back in a brand-new size of 34mm. Staying true to the much-loved design features of the Professional 200 collection, the new 34mm case size models come with a unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, water resistance to 200 meters, luminous markings, sapphire crystal and a double safety clasp. But what makes them new?

The main stars of the show are the five new stunning dial variations to choose from; three new mother-of-pearls, a Polar Blue and a signature blue. We’re loving the play on day and night with the iconic Aquaracer Polar Blue dial and signature blue dial (with distinctive polar blue accents found on the second hand, dial markings, and minute track). These timepieces emit an alluring charm similar to the northern lights, making them the ideal watch for those seeking an everyday elegance in their sporting adventures.

And not forgetting the mother-of-pearl dials. A first for the Solargraph series, TAG Heuer had a challenge on their hands with these watch faces, since Solargraph technology demands semi-transparency to harness solar energy. The finished product boasts ingeniously adapted mother-of-pearl to meet these requirements, ensuring its visibility while allowing light to pass through.

Choose between a sleek version, one adorned with diamonds on the indexes, and a third with diamonds gracing both the indexes and bezel. The interplay of light and reflection from the mother-of-pearl and diamonds mirrors the sparkle of the first snowfall, a visual spectacle brilliantly captured in the design of these timepieces.

Diving beneath the dial and the movement is just as impressive. The movement lasts for up to 10 months with no light exposure, only needing sight of a light source for ten seconds to get it ticking again. And, thanks to its ultra-efficient recharge time, only takes up to 40-hours to reach full power again. Designed for long-lasting performance and effortless wear, these timepieces are the perfect companion for the great outdoors. Keep your eye out for two mother-of-pearl dials and the signature blue dial coming soon to Beaverbrooks.

Connected Calibre E4 45mm Green

(SBR8A14.BT6317)

A pioneer in the world of smartwatches, TAG Heuer has gone a step forward to merge elegance with sports, embracing the stunning shade of green in the newest TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4. Featuring a robust steel case in a 45mm size, what sets this watch apart from the rest is the striking green ceramic polished bezel, perfectly complemented by a matching green rubber strap.

In terms of the Connected model itself, the Calibre E4 remains true to its roots, featuring the standard steel case with a black-coated steel crown. You can also customise the watch further with thousands of possible watch face combinations. For this model, three new distinct watch faces have been added to the collection; Mirage, Prism, and Chromatic. These watch faces boast different hues of green that mirror the bezel, offering a touch of animation without compromising on elegance.

And when we say there’s something for everyone with this watch, we mean it. The TAG Heuer Sports app ensures precise sports tracking; from running and cycling to walking, swimming and mountain hiking- it even includes a seven-minute workout with guided coaching! Let’s not forget the golf-lovers either. Fully immerse yourself in the course with TAG Heuer Golf; it tracks your shots from tee to green, intelligently refining club statistics over time. How tee-rrific?!

So if the green has caught your eye and you’re looking to monitor your heart rate, daily step goals and burned calories (plus lots more), then this is a watch to add to your wish-list. Coming soon to Beaverbrooks.

Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde

(SBR8A14.BT6317)

As if the new Carrera Chronograph, Aquaracer Solargraph and Connected Calibre E4 wasn’t enough, TAG Heuer have unveiled yet another groundbreaking new Carrera Date timepiece. Adorned with 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds, including 1.4 carats of stunning yellow Diamant d’avant-garde, we’re excited to introduce the TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde.

This marks the second lab-grown diamond colour created by the watchmaker, (think back to the TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde with pink diamonds which captivated audiences at Watches and Wonders in 2023), this yellow-diamond model showcases the brands commitment to innovation in the colourful lab-grown diamond world.

At the heart of this avant-garde creation is TAG Heuer’s revolutionary Plasma technology, which enables the delicate and sensitive growth of lab-grown diamonds and ensures that the entire diamond is diffused with colour evenly. We’re obsessed with the signature diamond crown, which is a single 1.3-carat, yellow lab-grown diamond!

We have to mention the sparkling dial too, which has been achieved by growing a vast number of diamond crystals as one, creating breathtaking reflections and light effects in a single diamond entity. The details don’t stop there with skeletonised hours and minutes hands, and at 12 o’clock, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has placed a yellow lab-grown diamond in its signature shield cut just below the Carrera logo.

Available in white gold with a 36mm case, this truly stunning timepiece features a total of 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds and comes on a white alligator strap with a white gold pin buckle. Powered by the TAG Heuer Calibre 7 Automatic movement, watch the time tick away through the open sapphire caseback. To enquire about this watch, please contact our Customer Service & Sales team.

In our opinion, TAG Heuer once again asserted their innovative and revolutionary watchmaking craftsmanship at the LVMH Watch Week 2024, continuing to redefine the boundaries of sophistication and style.
