Who are NORQAIN?
A young brand founded in 2018 by Founder & CEO Ben Küffer, alongside Co-Founders Ted Schneider and Mark Streit, NORQAIN is an independent, family-owned watchmaker, making them a rarity in the Swiss luxury watch industry.
This allows the brand to craft watches with independence, honing creative freedom with values rooted in sustainability, quality and innovation, meaning you’ll own a truly unique watch when choosing NORQAIN. Plus, with family heritage rooted in the watch industry, NORQAIN watches are made with over four decades of watchmaking experience and expertise.

Designed with a brave adventurer spirit, NORQAIN has many ties with the worlds of sports and mountaineering. Constantly striving to manufacture watches that reach new horizons and endeavours, NORQAIN watches have the perfect adventure-ready features such as GMT and chronograph functions, as well as a minimum water resistance of 100m.

Pushing Boundaries: The NORQAIN Way
NORQAIN is one of the few luxury watch manufacturers to produce only mechanical watches. With in-house design and assembly at the headquarters in Tavannes, Bernese Jura, Switzerland, NORQAIN not only dream up the designs of their often radical, sports-chic timepieces, but they also ensure their watches are durable and robust.
Innovation and creativity sit at the heart of the brand, such as through their patented material NORTEQ®, which is a lightweight, shock-absorbing carbon fibre material, specifically designed for comfortable, effortless wear. You’ll find this material in the NORQAIN Wild ONE collection, a benchmark in the brand’s watchmaking journey, and the epitome of high-performance sports watches.
NORQAIN’s watchmaking partner, Kenissi, provides some of the brand’s Manufacture Calibres. Manufacturing movements to the highest, most stringent Swiss standards, this ensures NORQAIN watches boast the pinnacle of precision. Kenissi develops two exclusive NORQAIN calibres, the NN20/1 three-hand movement and the NN20/2 GMT, boasting an outstanding 70-hour power reserve.
In 2024, the 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1) was introduced, developed in partnership with AMT. It features a skeletonised flyback chronograph function, which set a whole new standard for NORQAIN’s watchmaking. And on top of that, every NORQAIN watch is Chronometer-certified, meaning they’re among the best the industry has to offer - there really are no limits to NORQAIN’s pursuit of precision and quality.

This NORQAIN Independence Skeleton 42mm Automatic Watch boasts a robust skeleton construction, crafted in stainless steel. Putting the NORQAIN calibre N08S front and centre, this automatic movement features a power reserve of 41 hours, as well as a captivating finish. Paired with a blue rubber strap and equipped with a water resistance of 100m, it’s perfect for adventuring in style.

Former Manchester United captain and football icon Gary Neville is a NORQAIN business partner and ambassador. Known for his precision, resilience, and high performance on the pitch, he reflects the same values that NORQAIN stands for, making his role with the Swiss watchmaker a natural and powerful collaboration.

NORQAIN cares
NORQAIN’s values are rooted in a commitment to supporting a range of causes and charities. With a passion for sustainability, NORQAIN watch straps are crafted completely cruelty-free, using vegan-certified products such as rubber, metal bracelets, vegan leather and their unique appleskin strap. Partnering with #tide, an ocean clean-up company, the NORQAIN watch straps upcycle plastic from the ocean, and turn it into yarn that’s woven into fabric straps.
NORQAIN also prides itself on charity work, supporting the Butterfly Help Project with the release of its NEVEREST watch. A project that aids families of Sherpas who lost their lives in the Himalayan mountains, 10% of Norqain’s profits from the sales of this watch were donated, ensuring children have the access to education. NORQAIN also have a partnership with World Cleanup Day, a global movement that encourages communities to remove waste from their local environments.
