Although not named traditionally as the “diamond” by Queen Charlotte herself (more on that later), season three has us glued to our screens as we watch Penelope deal with the reveal of her alter ego, Lady Whistledown, alongside the blossoming of her relationship with Colin Bridgerton - referred to by fans as #Polin. On a journey to find her own voice, we’re loving how her jewellery and style reflects this.
Making a statement in a tennis necklace
Starting with the scene in which she first caught Colin’s attention. Penelope attended a ball wearing an emerald green dress, a sparkling emerald-cut tennis necklace and elegant waves in her hair. This was a new toned-down style for Penelope which caught everyone’s attention, since the Featherington’s are known for their bright, statement looks.
