OMEGA Days | The Novelties For 2022
As the new novelties for OMEGA have begun to roll out for 2022, we’re taking a closer look at the watches that have already grabbed our attention. The best part? This is just the beginning. There’s plenty more luxury to come from OMEGA Days.
‘OMEGA Days’ presents the new watches for 2022 and will consist of new releases from the Constellation, Seamaster and Speedmaster collections. So, let’s start from the beginning. This month OMEGA kicked off OMEGA Days with four breathtaking new additions to the Constellation collection. Let’s take a closer look…
The 28mm Constellation in colour
Just when we thought we couldn’t love the Constellation collection anymore (it’s the unique bracelet for us), OMEGA added four stunning additions to the iconic collection and we’ve fallen in love all over again.
Pastel colours are at the heart of these new designs and as pastel-coloured watches were one of our favourite watch trends for 2021 (read more here) we’re very glad to see OMEGA confirm colourful dials as a strong luxury watch trend for 2022 too.
Each watch has been given its own distinct personality through the use of dreamy colour tones. Choose from blush rose, a pop of purple with a patchouli blossom dial, green matcha or a celestial blue dial. Each one also has matching hues on the bezel’s Roman numeral markers for a further splash of colour.
The fifth generation
These new designs mark the fifth generation of the iconic OMEGA Constellation collection and as always, it’s still loved for its very feminine details. The 28mm case size sits daintily on the wrist, whilst the slender bracelet, slimmer claws, refined bezel and intricate bevelling all create a compact and elegant finish.
Take a closer look at the dial and you’ll notice intricately skeletonised hands made from 18ct white gold. The green and purple dials glisten with dazzling Top Wessleton diamonds, whilst the rose and blue dials feature sleek 18ct white gold markers.
Each watch is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and finished with a stainless steel bracelet with those iconic horizontal links for both beauty and strength. Each watch is also powered by a quartz movement.
The Constellation Aventurine 29mm collection
How can one watch have so many stunning designs? For a bolder take on the collection, the Constellation Aventurine 29mm watch features dials made from aventurine stone. What makes this so special is that aventurine features natural unique patterns that develop as it forms in the earth, so it means no two watches are alike.
Perfect for those who love to stand out, aventurine naturally forms in a range of vibrant colours. Choose from vivid green, bold red or deep blue.
The aventurine dial is an authentic quartz mineral formed by natural forces under the earth. The stone has a stunning shimmering effect that’s created from light reflections caused by the multiple shaped inclusions. The glittering effect is simply mesmerising.
Choose from stainless steel and 18ct Sedna Gold for pure luxury. With glittering diamond hour markers as well as diamond-filled bezels available, you can choose just how much breathtaking sparkle you want to add to your wrist.
Eye-catching leather straps complete the look, with colours that have been matched perfectly to enhance the striking aventurine dials.
At its engine is the Certified Master Chronometer self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement.
Constellation 41mm
Proving there’s a Constellation for everyone, the larger 41mm case size is coming soon to Beaverbrooks. Offering the ultimate choice for sophisticated wear, these new watches showcase their own distinctive colours and materials.
Classic tones of deep blue and black have been paired with equally classic and timeless white and black dials. Reflecting on the collection’s beginnings in 1952, you can still find the distinctive claws on the side of the case, the half-moon facets and the single Constellation star on the dial.
The ceramic bezel has been polished and hosts the Constellation’s essential Roman numerals, a touch that makes it instantly recognisable to any luxury watch fan.
With a self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement, the Certified Master Chronometer movement is resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss.
