The world’s most perfectly cut diamond
Founded back in 1996 by couple Glenn and Susan Rothman, Hearts On Fire became their brand name when on a trip to Belgium, Glenn stumbled across an unusually cut diamond which showcased a hearts and arrows pattern. He described it as the ‘Hearts On Fire’ diamond and began selling it with the trademark ‘The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond’.
Cutting a diamond has to be precise and accurate for the crystals full potential to be released. A blend of both art and science, Hearts On Fire cut and polish their diamonds at 100x magnification – which is ten times the industry standard, hence making them the world’s most perfectly cut diamond. Focusing on only round or square shapes, Hearts On Fire’s way of diamond cutting highlights the way the diamond reflects and refracts light, emphasising its beauty.
Not only that, but the extremely precise proportions that they use create a unique signature Hearts and Fireburst pattern, radiating maximum sparkle and brilliance in every single diamond - even their smaller stones!
The craftsmanship behind cutting a diamond is even more impeccable – the master diamond cutters have to be an apprentice between 5-10 years before they can even cut a 1ct diamond, and when they do, it takes 4 times as long on a Hearts On Fire diamond than it would to cut a generic diamond.
