Baselworld 2019 | New Breitling Watches
Under the new creative direction of CEO Georges Kern, any releases from Breitling over the past two years have been met with much anticipation (and analysis), and Breitling’s releases at Baselworld have been no different.
Here’s our Breitling round up from Baselworld…
Breitling at Baselworld 2019
Breitling Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition
Whilst a fair few of Breitling’s designs under Georges Kern have been relatively stripped back with things like cleaner dials, Breitling have kept this exciting Navitimer re-edition extremely faithful to the original.
In 1952, Breitling developed the Navitimer, which quickly became a mainstay of every pilot’s cockpit with its now-iconic slide rule enabling pilots to make all critical flight calculations.
This Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition celebrates one of the most iconic early designs of the Navitimer, released exactly 60 years ago, staying true to the original model with an all-black dial, tone-on-tone subdials and the rotating beaded bezel.

Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 41
A sophisticated and contemporary take on the legendary Breitling Navitimer, the Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 boasts Breitling’s famous circular slide rule and distinctive beaded bezel – whilst still retaining a fresh and refined look.
We’re big fans of how this new Navitimer looks, with its perfectly sized and stunning three-hand dial. If you weren’t a fan of the Navitimer before (can’t relate, sorry!), you may well be now…
