TAG Heuer Muhammad Ali Limited Edition
Following last years’ Muhammad Ali Limited Edition, we’re excited to introduce the return of this remarkable timepiece. Now with a blue opalin dial, this new limited edition still celebrates the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and his work ethic, fearlessness and revolutionary techniques in the ring.
To understand the history of this watch, we have to travel back in time sixty years to 1957, when TAG Heuer launched the ‘Ring Master’ stopwatch. A world first, this particular piece boasted interchangeable rings of scale for timing various sports, with readings down to 1/5th of a second.
The Muhammad Ali Special Edition watches borrow heavily from this design, to create not only a vintage aesthetic, but an intriguing story. Back in 1957, boxing matches went to 15 rounds (as opposed to the modern day 12 rounds) which explains why this particular dial design still tracks 15 rounds of three minutes. The white inner ring, for amateur and female competitions where the rounds last two minutes, has also been kept. Each ring also not only features the fighting time, but the black intervals represent the recovery periods between rounds.
This really is a watch specifically dedicated to timing boxing matches. For any fans of the sport, these clever features are pretty special to be able to talk about and show off.
Based on the attractive Carrera Drive Timer model, originally released at Baselworld 2014, the 43mm case houses the Calibre 5 movement. The case back is engraved with Muhammad Ali’s signature, as well as the man himself whilst the strap versions still boast motor racing inspirations with rally-style perforations.
Marking a true sporting legend, the TAG Heuer Carrera is an iconic piece offering excellent readability, a quality automatic movement and smart style.
Prices start from £2,350 or from £44.06 per month with 0% interest free credit.
TAG Heuer Kingsman Special Editions
Since we've written this post, these watches now have all sold out!
TAG Heuer has partnered with the second spy film Kingsman to create two special editions, worn by the characters in this epic adventure.
The follow-up film to 2015’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is another stylish secret agent story from acclaimed director Matthew Vaughn, starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Channing Tatum amongst others. The agents wear the TAG Heuer Connected and the legendary TAG Heuer Monaco.
TAG Heuer Connected Kingsman
Boasting a starring role in the Kingsman movie, this TAG Heuer Connected Kingsman Special Edition watch comes with rose gold lugs and an elegant brown leather strap with Kingsman print. It also comes with a second strap in orange velvet, inspired by the iconic orange velvet suit from the film.
Differing from the main Connected Modular 45 collection with its dial functions and Kingsman engraving on the case back, this Special Edition of the iconic smartwatch bears the Kingsman inscription and logo at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock on the two preloaded digital watch faces.
Fans of the film franchise will like this, too… At 10:10, the dial vibrates and the rose gold K-shaped logo takes over in a pretty cool animated fashion. Finally, the original Android Wear lighting function is also replaced by the film’s logo when deployed.
Still one of the smartest smartwatches we’ve seen, the Kingsman Special Edition of the Connected Modular 45 nods to this heroic new film with its red carpet elegance and agent-worthy technology.
Price is £3,100 or from £232.50 per month with 0% interest free credit.
TAG Heuer Monaco Kingsman Special Edition
A very worthy co-star to the impressive TAG Heuer Connected, this TAG Heuer Monaco Kingsman Special Edition is a stunning update to the famous Monaco. No stranger to the silverscreen, the TAG Heuer Monaco was worn by Steve McQueen in the 1971 film Le Mans.
This version boasts a luscious brown dial and matching brown leather strap, perfectly complemented by rose gold accents across the dial. The luxuriousness is finished off with the addition of thirteen sparkling diamonds on the dial.
We love how this luxury look works with the iconic and instantly recognisable square case, giving this famous timepiece a new talking point for the red carpet.
Price is £1,850 or from £34.68 per month with 0% interest free credit.
TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition
In 1987, Ayrton Senna won the legendary Monaco Grand Prix for the very first time. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of this victory, this TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition is filled with TAG Heuer’s renowned racing spirit and motor sports heritage.
The bold combination of black and red is a strong nod to F1. The black dial is adorned with three red lines, hinting at the tracks left by a speeding race car, whilst the rubber strap represents a racing car’s tyres. The watch also proudly displays the iconic ‘S’ Senna symbol on the dial, bezel and case back to forever remind you of Senna’s exceptional skill and spirit.
Prices start from £1,150 or from £21.56 per month with 0% interest free credit.
TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 01
We’re very excited about this new 43mm version of the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 01. We already have the 45mm version, plus the 43mm version on stainless steel and rubber strap, so this new blue model on a leather strap is a welcome addition to our Heuer 01 collection.
The Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 was first introduced in 2015. The imposing 45mm case proved a hit with TAG Heuer fans, specifically those who preferred a larger case size.
This year, the well-loved skeleton chronograph returned in a smaller 43mm case, for those who loved the design but perhaps not the huge size.
This deep navy blue version still houses the famous in-house TAG Heuer Calibre Heuer 01 movement and still boasts the iconic skeleton dial. We love the matching blue tones of the embossed leather strap, ceramic bezel and dial detailing.
Price is £4,250, or from £79.68 per month with 0% interest free credit.
