Sandra and Andy. A love story of more than two decades, and more to come.
Sandra and Andy met in 2000, got engaged in 2001, and were married in 2002.
“We have been going to the Sunderland branch of Beaverbrooks for the last 23 years. We have a great relationship with Linsey, Dean & all the staff. We pop in to say hi if we are passing and we generally only buy our jewellery from there.
“The team there has seen us from being engaged, to married, to pregnant, to currently having our two teenage children. From a toddler, Olivia used to love performing in the shop, she would sing, dance, and entertain all the staff.
“Our secret of lasting love- we work together, are best friends, we don’t fall out or argue - Andy’s calming nature has rubbed off on me over the years.
“All of our rings including my eternity ring were bought from this store as well as pretty much gifts for every special occasion since. Linsey, Dean and the staff helping Andy along the way to choose my surprise gifts, they know me well…”
Through ups, downs, and everything in-between, here’s to a 23-year marriage, raising two loving kids, in one heck of a team. Thanks for letting us be a part of your love story.
Saman and Petr. From breaking cultural borders, to making unbreakable vows.
Sticking together, despite cultures miles apart, here’s to nine years of happiness.
After a Sikh wedding ceremony and almost a decade of love, Saman and Petr says that communication, your own space, and always giving 100% is the secret to everlasting love.

Lisa and Matt. Welcoming six years, one four-legged friend, and a happy new home.
Lisa and Matt came to Beaverbrooks in 2019 and 2021 for both their engagement rings and wedding rings.
When Lisa met Matt in 2016, it wasn’t just career goals she realised they shared.
“Our biggest achievement was probably buying and renovating our first home. Somewhere where we can shut ourselves off from the world and live in our little bubble.
“The second biggest ‘up’ was getting married in Las Vegas, although our family knew about it, we asked for it to just be the two of us. It was a super personal day, we wrote our own vows, got married on the outdoor terrace of a chapel, had a gondola ride round our hotel), hit the casino and ended the night with an "in 'N' out" burger!”
Lisa and Matt have a two year old Rottweiler called Luna, who’s “definitely more our child than a pet!”
From meeting at work, to sealing the deal at their wedding. Here’s to building a family and a home of your own, in a love that’s never-ending. Thanks for letting us be a part of your journey.
Sam and Lee. From meeting at university, to getting ready to start a family.
Sam is a Store Manager at our Birmingham Fort store. After gifting each other jewellery for years, including a few matching pieces, they bought each other stunning wedding rings for their special day.
“Getting married and honeymooning in Cuba was definitely a highlight! They say your wedding day is special but that’s an understatement, we loved every second. We’ve travelled a lot together which has been lovely, both in and out of the UK. Seeing our nephew grow has also been very special.
“We were approved to adopt in November 2022 and currently in the family finding stage – we are hoping to be placed at some point in 2023 and cannot wait for the next chapter. Lee is a huge dog lover so no doubt we’ll have one at some point!”
Lee has a palladium wedding ring and Sam has a platinum wedding ring which, “always gets comments… it’s stunning! We bought our rings for each other which made them even more sentimental.”
After over a decade of love, Sam and Lee’s secret to everlasting love is honesty and communication. Having your own space is also key to a happy relationship. Thanks for letting us be a part of your love story.
Lucy and Dan. Declaring their love, buying a dream house, and raising a beautiful daughter.
Having been together for five years, Lucy and Dan met at work and worked together firstly as friends.
“In the early days, seeing each other every day at work (whilst this may be some couple’s worst nightmare) was really lovely and it meant in the evenings or weekends when we had time off, we could spend it doing things we really enjoyed as we’d get all of the ‘life-admin’ things done during the week.
“We have one daughter, Harper, who is two. She is our absolute miracle baby as Lucy was told by her doctor’s, at age 15, that she would likely never conceive due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). But we were blessed with Harper, and we are so lucky.”
Lucy and Dan’s secret to everlasting love?
“No relationship is perfect, and anyone that says theirs is… is probably lying. You have to consistently make an effort to choose your partner. But life is tough sometimes and it’s inevitable that you take stress out on those who are closest to you. Just take a step back every now and then to tell your partner how much you appreciate all the little things they do.
“We bought our Valentine’s Day gifts for each other back at the beginning of January. We are both rubbish when it comes to remembering Valentine’s Day so we ended up booking a table at our local Beaverbrooks store as early as we could to make sure neither of us forgot.”
