LVMH Watch Week 2023 | New TAG Heuer Watches

Kicking off the New Year with the watch industry’s first event, LVMH has put the spotlight on their watchmaking Maisons, including exciting new releases from Swiss watch brand, TAG Heuer. And we’re here to tell you about them all.

From adventure tool watches to racetrack favourites, TAG Heuer have showcased their avant-garde spirit once again, with new additions to their already-iconic Aquaracer, Carrera, Monza and Connected collections. Straight from Singapore, we’ve rounded up the highlights below with a little help from our Beaverbrooks luxury watch expert, Bruce Andrews.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph Titanium

(WBP1180.BF0000)

It’s really interesting to see how they’ve mimicked the Northern lights sky with the polar blue and green luminescent features. It definitely is a watch that lives and breathes the outdoors!” – Bruce, Head of Luxury Watches.

Since launching its ground-breaking TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph at Watches & Wonders 2022, the Swiss watch brand have kicked off LVMH Watch Week with the reveal of their brand-new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph. Known as the perfect watch for endless adventures and exploration, here’s why it’s the ultimate companion for the outdoors…

First things first, this new model embraces the sun. Using light to illuminate the Super-Luminova elements of the watch, there’s no need to change the battery as it’s recharged by both sun and artificial light through its unique, partly translucent dial.

Just a two-minute exposure to direct sunlight is enough to power the watch for an entire day, and once fully charged the watch can run for up to six months with no light exposure. Developed and manufactured exclusively by TAG Heuer and Manufacture La Joux-Perret in Switzerland, the Calibre TH50-00 is both reliable and efficient, boasting a 5-year extended warranty.

Created to offer comfort, robustness and durability, the sleek and sporty bracelet is also made of titanium for ergonomics, and better resistance to the elements and hazards encountered on your adventures. TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition

(CBK221H.FC8317)

A huge watch trend for 2023, retro designs continue to be a favourite and what better way to tap into that trend than a remake of an iconic favourite in such a special year for TAG Heuer.” – Bruce, Head of Luxury Watches.

Now it’s time for something really special. Six decades on from the birth of the iconic Carrera collection, TAG Heuer have introduced a limited edition model inspired by a collector favourite - the Glassbox 2447 SN. Limited to 600 pieces, this highly collectible watch marks the beginning of a year of Carrera 60th Anniversary celebrations.

Featuring a panda dial, this model is a faithful reinterpretation of the Carrera 2447 SN with colourways lifted from the vintage version - the black stripes down the central hands and hour markers, the double stops at 12, and the black counters with high-contrast white markings. Not forgetting the vintage Heuer logo too, with the name Carrera above it on a silver sunray-brushed dial.

Turn the watch over and you’ll find the heart of the watch. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the Heuer 02 movement, TAG Heuer’s 80-hour in-house automatic chronograph calibre. The case back is also engraved with the watches individual number out of 600. With links back to the Glassbox of the late 1960s, this timepiece will forever be a watch for TAG Heuer lovers and collectors alike. It’s great to see more from the Monza collection! Capturing the racing spirit of the legendary Monza track, this is a bold timepiece for both motorsport and TAG Heuer lovers alike.” – Bruce, Head of Luxury Watches.

Moving into the exciting world of motorsports, all you racing fans will be pleased to know the TAG Heuer Monza has made a return in a striking ultra-lightweight and resistant carbon rendition. This new timepiece expresses boldness, confidence, and a love of speed. Ready, set, go…

Whether you’re a pro or not, the new Monza homes a chronograph, tachymeter scale and pulsometer, all of which are essential functions to a racing driver in action. Boasting a unique black skeletonized dial that reveals the in-house Calibre Heuer 02 Flyback movement underneath, this model echoes the Monza’s mechanical roots with the flyback giving you the ability to reset the chronograph without stopping it.
