Wedding Spotlight | Retro In Las Vegas
We love a good wedding, so when one of our lovely customers sent over her stunning wedding photos from Vegas, we knew we had to share them with you.
Julie and Jason were together for four years before they tied the knot. Their story is a true rock and roll fairy tale. Whilst Julie was on holiday in Las Vegas, just as she was about to leave, she met Jason on her last night there... Fate? We think so!
After trying a long distance relationship for three years, they decided they had to be together and get married, so Julie moved to Vegas. (Yes, we may be a tiny bit jealous too!)
Julie didn’t want to risk not finding the perfect engagement ring in America, so before she headed to Vegas she chose her dream ring from our High Wycombe Beaverbrooks store.
She went for this breathtaking platinum diamond cluster ring, an ultra-glamorous vintage style with plenty of sparkle. It's a ring truly fit for a princess, and we can see why Julie chose it! If you're looking for your own perfect engagement ring, shop similar styles to Julie or find out what engagement ring style you are.
When the big day arrived, after getting glammed up, they each rode in style in a limousine to their special day. The happy couple got married at the Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas with an intimate wedding with just the two of them. As they both love retro Vegas and old school glamour, this place fitted perfectly.
It’s clear to see from their stunning photos how much fun the day was. We absolutely love the backdrop and they both looked lovely... We adore Julie’s chic dress. And can we all just take a second to admire that gorgeous hair do!
After the ceremony, the newlyweds headed for their wedding meal at an Italian restaurant in a downtown casino. The height of old school kitsch at its best with white tuxedo jacketed waiters. Julie “felt like a film star!”
She also gave some excellent tips for any future bride planning a wedding...
"Top tip for planning a wedding... Be yourself and plan it your way. Let it be a reflection of who you are and let your personality tell the story.”
Definitely wise words and from these amazing photographs, we can see this wish came true for Julie and her new husband Jason.
